Anurag Kashyap: If I wake up as Pahlaj Nihalani, I will die of shame
The makers of 'Udta Punjab' had found themselves in a fix over the row with Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) when they instructed them to make 89 cuts to the film and also change its title. Thereafter, the makers of the film filed a case against the CBFC and won the case in the High Court and got the film cleared with just one cut. Following this brawl 'Udta Punjab' hit the screens like a storm and garnered good response from the critics and the box office. But it seems that Anurag Kashyap has not been able to put it behind him yet. During a recent chat show, Kashyap took a dig at CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani saying that if he ever woke up as him, he would die of shame. Kashyap also talked about how he would put an end to the organisation if he ever becomes its chairperson.
